Can’t I just hire a general contractor?

By holli • February 21st, 2009

Having installed a couple of grab bars or having built an accessible toilet stall in a public building hardly qualifies a general contractor as experienced in the design and modification of a private home.  Simple errors could have a huge impact on accessibility.  Is the drain pitched the right way?  Is the grab bar securely fastened?  Have they ever built an elevator shaft?

A home accessibility specialist like Mobility will ensure that the modification accommodates a specific disability.  We work closely with health care professionals.  We know what home medical equipment the customer is using.  We have over 20 years experience serving the accessibility community.  The services we provide impact and improve the quality of life for our customers.
